Spirals in Spring

It is a pattern we see in nature again and again. From the shape of a galaxy, to a tornado, the famous nautilus, the unfolding fern or any embryo, they all seem to share a common blueprint.

Along the years mathematicians and artists alike were captivated by spirals, studied them, yearning for understanding. What I sense in it is a symbol of tremendous power and growth, unfolding from the centre out, in a most gentle, harmonious dance.

I would like to invite you to look for these little spirals around your home. It’s spring, the season of rapid growth. They remind us how it feels… emerging slowly and cautiously, opening up to light and warmth, to new possibilities and growth.

Happy Earth Day!
