It took me two days to arrange the grapes around the apple. I waited patiently until the feeling of harmony filled my chest. This is a painting about the ordinary revealing the extraordinary.

There is nothing out of the ordinary in grapes and apples.  The rhythm of shapes and colours in this arrangement however, made me feel intoxicated with beauty, somewhat like a poem by Rumi.

Then only I started painting, and the feeling stayed with me through the process. It’s been one of my most rewarding painting experiences.

My hope is that you also feel the harmony, every day, the ordinary revealing the extraordinary.
